Shipping & Delivery Policy

Last updated: 3 October 2026

Mimic3DPrint produces small-batch resin collectibles from our studio in Italy.

Most of our products are made to order, which means your figure may need to be printed, post-processed, assembled, prepared, painted and quality-checked before it is ready to leave the studio.

For this reason, production time and shipping time are two separate stages.

This policy explains how both work.

1. Where We Ship From

Orders are prepared and dispatched from Italy.

We ship to Italy, European destinations and selected international destinations where suitable delivery services are available.

Availability of shipping services may vary depending on:

  • destination country;

  • parcel dimensions;

  • parcel weight;

  • customs restrictions;

  • carrier availability;

  • the value or nature of the order.

If we are unable to ship an order to the address provided, we will contact you before dispatch and arrange an appropriate solution.

2. Made-to-Order Production

Most Mimic3DPrint products are not held as finished inventory.

Production normally begins after your order has been confirmed.

Depending on the selected product and finish, the production process may include:

  1. preparation of the digital model for the selected scale;

  2. resin printing;

  3. washing and curing;

  4. removal of printing supports;

  5. surface preparation and test-fitting;

  6. assembly where required;

  7. priming and hand painting for painted orders;

  8. final quality control;

  9. protective packaging.

This production period takes place before the parcel is handed to the shipping carrier.

3. Estimated Production Times

Estimated production times are shown on the relevant product page or variant where available.

Production time can vary depending on:

  • model complexity;

  • selected scale;

  • number and size of parts;

  • selected finish;

  • painting complexity;

  • current studio workload;

  • necessary reprints;

  • additional preparation or quality-control work.

Unpainted resin kits will generally require less studio time than fully hand-painted pieces.

Production estimates are intended to give you a realistic indication of our current workflow.

They are not the same as courier transit times.

4. Production Delays

Resin printing and hand-finishing are production processes in which occasional unexpected issues can occur.

A print may fail, a component may need to be reprinted, or a painted part may require additional work before it meets our quality standard.

We would rather remake a component than knowingly ship a piece that does not meet the expected standard.

If an unexpected issue causes a substantial delay to your order, we will make reasonable efforts to contact you.

Any mandatory rights relating to delayed delivery remain unaffected.

5. Orders Needed by a Specific Date

If you require a figure for:

  • a birthday;

  • Christmas or another holiday;

  • a convention;

  • an anniversary;

  • a gift;

  • a photoshoot;

  • another fixed event or deadline,

please contact us before placing your order.

Unless we explicitly confirm a delivery deadline in writing, estimated production and transit times should not be considered a guaranteed arrival date.

Rush production is not automatically available.

Where it is possible, any special arrangement must be agreed with us before the order is placed.

6. Shipping Costs

Shipping costs are calculated according to the options available for your order and destination and are displayed during checkout where supported.

The final shipping cost may depend on:

  • destination;

  • parcel size;

  • parcel weight;

  • selected carrier or service;

  • available delivery options.

You will be able to review applicable shipping charges before completing the purchase.

We do not add undisclosed shipping charges after an order has been placed.

7. Shipping Methods

We use tracked shipping services wherever reasonably available.

Carrier selection may vary according to the destination, parcel characteristics and service availability.

Shipping labels and carrier services may be managed through our shipping platform and its supported carrier network.

We may choose a different suitable carrier from one order to another where this provides an appropriate or safer delivery service.

Where multiple delivery options are available during checkout, you may select your preferred option.

8. Estimated Transit Times

Courier transit begins after the order has completed production and has been dispatched.

Any transit time shown during checkout, on our website or in shipping communications is an estimate provided for guidance.

Actual transit times may be affected by circumstances outside our direct control, including:

  • carrier network delays;

  • peak-season volumes;

  • weather;

  • customs processing;

  • local delivery conditions;

  • strikes;

  • public holidays;

  • security checks;

  • remote destination surcharges or routing.

A courier estimate is not the same as a guaranteed delivery date unless expressly stated.

9. Order Tracking

Where tracked shipping is available, you will receive tracking information after your order has been dispatched.

Please allow some time after receiving the shipping confirmation for the carrier's tracking system to register the parcel.

Tracking events are generated by the carrier and may occasionally update with a delay.

If your tracking has not changed for an unusually long period, contact us and we can review the shipment.

10. Multiple-Item Orders

If your order contains multiple made-to-order products, we will normally prepare the complete order before dispatch.

This means that the overall production time may be determined by the item requiring the longest production period.

Where practical, we may agree to split an order into multiple shipments.

Additional shipping charges may apply where a customer specifically requests separate shipments.

We will confirm any additional charge before proceeding.

11. Packaging

Resin collectibles can contain thin, delicate or protruding components.

Orders are therefore packed according to the size, shape and fragility of the individual figure.

Packaging may include:

  • protective foam;

  • cushioning material;

  • separate protection for individual components;

  • reinforced outer cartons;

  • additional internal supports where required.

Some figures may be shipped partially disassembled where doing so significantly reduces the risk of transport damage.

In these cases, simple final assembly may be required after delivery.

12. Large Collectibles

Large-scale collectibles, particularly 1/4 and 1/3 scale figures, may require substantially larger parcels than smaller figures.

Shipping cost is determined by the complete packed parcel rather than the character scale alone.

Large bases, weapons, wings, scenery and effect parts can significantly increase:

  • dimensional weight;

  • parcel volume;

  • packaging requirements;

  • international shipping costs.

Please consider the final product dimensions shown on the listing when ordering large-scale pieces.

13. Delivery Address

Customers are responsible for providing a complete and accurate shipping address during checkout.

Please check carefully:

  • recipient name;

  • street and house number;

  • apartment or unit number;

  • postcode;

  • city;

  • province or state where applicable;

  • country;

  • telephone number where requested.

If you notice an error, contact us as quickly as possible.

We may be able to correct the address before dispatch.

Once the parcel has been transferred to the carrier, address changes may no longer be possible or may involve additional carrier charges.

14. Incorrect or Incomplete Addresses

If a parcel cannot be delivered because the address supplied with the order was incorrect or incomplete, the carrier may:

  • return it to us;

  • request an address correction;

  • apply additional charges;

  • attempt redelivery.

Where additional costs arise directly from incorrect information supplied by the customer, we may request payment of those reasonable costs where permitted by law.

If the error was made by Mimic3DPrint, we will take responsibility for correcting it.

15. Failed Delivery Attempts

Carriers may make one or more delivery attempts depending on the service and destination.

The recipient may also be asked to:

  • reschedule delivery;

  • collect the parcel from a pickup location;

  • provide additional delivery instructions.

Please follow the carrier's instructions where reasonably possible.

If a parcel is returned to us after repeated unsuccessful delivery attempts or because it was not collected, contact us so that we can determine the appropriate next step.

Additional shipping costs for resending an order may apply where the failed delivery was attributable to the recipient and where permitted by law.

16. Refused Deliveries

Simply refusing a parcel does not automatically constitute a valid cancellation or exercise of the statutory right of withdrawal.

If you wish to withdraw from an eligible purchase, please notify us clearly as described in our Returns & Refunds Policy.

If a parcel is refused without an applicable legal basis and returned to us, reasonable additional transport costs may be taken into account where permitted by law.

17. Risk During Transport

When Mimic3DPrint arranges delivery using a shipping service offered by us, responsibility for loss or transport damage remains with us until the goods are physically received by you or by a third party designated by you, other than the carrier, as required by applicable consumer law.

You are not required to resolve a carrier claim yourself in order to exercise your rights against Mimic3DPrint.

We may nevertheless ask for your cooperation, photographs or other information needed to investigate the shipment with the carrier.

Where you independently arrange transport using a carrier that was not offered by Mimic3DPrint, different rules regarding transfer of risk may apply under applicable law.

18. Damaged Parcels

If your order arrives with visible damage to the external package, please photograph the parcel before opening it whenever reasonably possible.

After opening the package, photograph:

  • the external box;

  • any visible impact or damage;

  • the internal protective packaging;

  • the damaged component;

  • the overall product.

Please retain all packaging until the issue has been resolved.

This evidence can be important when we submit a transport claim.

19. Damage Discovered After Opening

If the outer package appears intact but a resin component is damaged inside, contact us as soon as reasonably possible.

Please provide:

  • your order number;

  • photographs of the damaged piece;

  • photographs of the packaging;

  • any other information reasonably necessary to understand the damage.

Depending on the circumstances, an appropriate remedy may include:

  • replacement of an individual component;

  • repair;

  • replacement of the product;

  • another legally appropriate remedy;

  • refund where required.

Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for further details.

20. Lost Shipments

If a tracked parcel appears to be lost in transit, contact us.

We will investigate the shipment with the carrier where appropriate.

Carrier investigations can require additional information and may take time to complete.

You will not be required to pursue the carrier independently where Mimic3DPrint arranged the shipment.

If the shipment is confirmed lost, or where applicable consumer law otherwise requires a remedy, we will arrange the appropriate solution.

This may include replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.

21. Tracking Shows Delivered but the Parcel Is Missing

If tracking shows that a parcel has been delivered but you cannot locate it, please first check where reasonably appropriate:

  • other members of the household;

  • neighbours;

  • reception or concierge services;

  • building delivery areas;

  • safe locations identified by the carrier;

  • parcel lockers or pickup points.

If the parcel still cannot be located, contact us promptly.

We can then review the tracking information and, where appropriate, open an investigation with the carrier.

22. European Union Deliveries

Orders dispatched from Italy to destinations within the European Union generally move within the EU customs area and are not normally subject to import customs formalities between Member States for ordinary consumer purchases.

Applicable VAT is handled according to the relevant tax rules and information shown during checkout.

Any mandatory taxes or charges collected by Mimic3DPrint will be presented as required during the purchasing process.

23. International Deliveries Outside the European Union

Orders shipped to destinations outside the European Union may be subject to local:

  • import VAT;

  • customs duties;

  • brokerage fees;

  • handling charges;

  • other government or carrier charges.

These charges depend on the destination, product value, customs classification and local regulations.

Unless expressly stated otherwise during checkout, charges imposed by the destination country's authorities or local carrier after import are not included in the product or shipping price charged by Mimic3DPrint.

The recipient may be required to pay these charges before the parcel is released.

24. Customs Information

For international shipments, we are required to provide accurate customs information.

We will not intentionally:

  • declare a false product value;

  • mark a commercial sale as a gift when it is not;

  • provide false product information;

  • misrepresent the contents of a shipment to avoid taxes or customs controls.

Customs authorities may inspect or delay parcels independently of Mimic3DPrint.

We cannot guarantee how quickly a particular country's customs authority will process a shipment.

25. Customs Delays

Customs clearance time is separate from both production time and normal carrier transit estimates.

If customs requests information from you, responding promptly may help avoid additional delays.

Where customs authorities request documentation from us, we will provide appropriate information where reasonably possible.

Delays caused solely by customs processing are generally outside our direct control.

Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.

26. Import Charges and Refused Customs Payments

Customers placing orders for delivery outside the EU should check their country's import requirements before purchasing.

If a recipient refuses to pay legitimately applicable import charges and the parcel is returned to us, costs associated with:

  • return shipping;

  • customs processing;

  • carrier charges

may be taken into account when resolving the order where permitted by applicable law.

This does not affect mandatory rights relating to faulty, incorrect or non-conforming products.

27. Shipping Restrictions

We reserve the right not to ship to a destination where:

  • no reliable carrier service is available;

  • legal or customs restrictions prevent shipment;

  • transport conditions create an unreasonable risk of damage;

  • applicable sanctions or regulations prohibit the transaction;

  • the carrier cannot reasonably service the destination.

If this affects an order that has already been placed, we will contact the customer and provide an appropriate refund where the order cannot be fulfilled.

28. Remote Areas

Some postal codes and remote locations may be subject to:

  • longer delivery times;

  • limited carrier choices;

  • additional shipping charges;

  • alternative delivery arrangements.

Where these circumstances materially affect an order and cannot be calculated correctly at checkout, we will contact you before dispatch.

We will not impose an undisclosed additional charge without your agreement.

29. Contacting Us About Delivery

If you have a question about an order that is still in production, please include your order number when contacting us.

If your order has already shipped, please also provide the tracking number where available.

Email: info@mimic3dprint.it

Please remember that production and shipping are different stages:

Order confirmed → Production → Quality control → Packaging → Dispatch → Carrier transit → Delivery

30. Changes to This Shipping Policy

We may update this Shipping Policy to reflect changes to:

  • carriers;

  • shipping services;

  • our production workflow;

  • customs requirements;

  • applicable law.

The policy applicable to an order will be interpreted together with the information provided during checkout and any mandatory consumer rights in force at the time of purchase.
