Terms of Service
Last updated: 3 October 2026
Welcome to Mimic3DPrint.
These Terms of Service govern the use of www.mimic3dprint.it and the purchase of products offered through our online store.
By accessing the website or placing an order, you agree to these Terms together with our Privacy Policy, Shipping Policy and Returns & Refunds Policy.
Nothing in these Terms limits any mandatory consumer rights granted by applicable law.

The store is operated by:

2. Our Products
Our products are primarily made-to-order resin collectibles and may be supplied as:
-
Hand-painted figures, prepared and painted by hand in our studio; or
-
Unpainted resin kits, intended for assembly, preparation and painting by the customer.
Unless expressly stated otherwise on the product page, our products are not mass-produced finished toys.
Each piece goes through a combination of resin printing, washing, curing, support removal, preparation, quality control and, where applicable, hand painting.
Because of this production process, very small variations between individual pieces may occur.
These variations are part of the handcrafted nature of the product and do not automatically constitute a defect.
3. Resin Kits
Unpainted resin kits are hobby products intended for customers who understand that preparation may be required before painting.
Depending on the model, this may include:
-
light sanding;
-
removal of small support marks;
-
test fitting;
-
minor filling;
-
assembly;
-
priming.
Unless otherwise stated, resin kits are supplied unpainted.
Photographs of painted examples may be shown to illustrate the sculpt or the potential final result and do not mean that the kit itself will be delivered painted.
4. Hand-Painted Figures
Hand-painted products are individually prepared and painted by hand.
Colour tones, transitions, weathering, textures and other artistic details may therefore vary slightly from photographs or previous examples.
Product photography, screen settings and lighting conditions may also affect how colours appear.
Where a product page shows an actual Mimic3DPrint painted example, it should be considered representative of our standard and artistic approach rather than a promise that every brushstroke will be identical.
5. Scale and Dimensions
Scale ratios such as 1/8, 1/6, 1/4 or 1/3 describe the approximate proportional scale of the character.
They do not by themselves determine the complete dimensions of the finished collectible.
Bases, weapons, wings, effects, scenery and character poses can significantly affect height, width and depth.
Where exact or approximate product dimensions are provided on the product page, those measurements should be used when planning display space.
If dimensions are essential to your purchase and are not listed, please contact us before ordering.
6. Product Images and Descriptions
We make reasonable efforts to present our products as accurately as possible.
Images may include:
-
digital renders supplied by the original sculptor;
-
photographs of actual printed pieces;
-
photographs of hand-painted Mimic3DPrint pieces;
-
illustrative images used to demonstrate scale or finish.
Where relevant, we aim to distinguish between renders and photographs of physical products.
Minor differences may occur between a digital render and a finished resin print due to the nature of physical production.
7. Orders
Placing an order constitutes an offer to purchase the selected products.
After checkout, you will receive an electronic order confirmation.
We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order before production begins where reasonably necessary, including in cases of:
-
obvious pricing or listing errors;
-
suspected fraud or unauthorised payment;
-
inability to produce the requested configuration;
-
technical errors affecting the order;
-
restrictions preventing lawful sale or shipment of the product.
If we cancel an order after payment has been received, the amount paid for the cancelled item will be refunded using the original payment method.
8. Prices and Payment
Prices are displayed in the currency shown at checkout.
Applicable taxes are calculated according to the information shown during checkout and the customer's destination where required.
Shipping charges are shown separately before the order is completed unless expressly included in the product price.
For international orders, import duties, customs charges or local taxes may apply depending on the destination country.
Unless expressly stated otherwise at checkout, such charges are not included in the product price and remain the responsibility of the recipient.
Payment must be successfully authorised before an order can enter production.
9. Made-to-Order Production
Most Mimic3DPrint products are produced after an order is placed.
Production times shown on the website are estimates, not shipping times.
The actual production period may vary according to:
-
model complexity;
-
selected scale;
-
selected finish;
-
number and size of printed parts;
-
painting complexity;
-
current studio workload;
-
print failures or necessary reprints;
-
additional quality-control work.
We make reasonable efforts to remain within the estimated production window and will contact the customer if a substantial unexpected delay occurs.
If you require an order for a birthday, event, gift or other fixed date, please contact us before placing the order.
An estimated production time should not be considered a guaranteed delivery date unless we have expressly confirmed that deadline in writing.
10. Shipping and Delivery
Shipping methods, estimated transit times and applicable charges are described in our Shipping Policy and during checkout where available.
Production time and shipping time are separate.
Once an order has completed production, it is carefully packed before being handed to the carrier.
For consumer orders, responsibility for the goods remains with us until they are delivered to you or to a person designated by you, except where you independently arrange transport with a carrier not offered by us.
Customers must provide a complete and accurate delivery address.
Additional costs resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address, refused delivery or repeated delivery attempts may be charged where permitted by law.
11. Damage in Transit
Resin collectibles can contain delicate components.
Please inspect the parcel and its contents shortly after delivery.
If an item arrives damaged, contact us as soon as reasonably possible and provide:
-
your order number;
-
photographs of the external packaging;
-
photographs of the internal packaging;
-
clear photographs of the damaged part.
Please retain the packaging until the issue has been resolved, as the carrier may require evidence for a transport claim.
Reporting transport damage promptly helps us investigate the issue, but does not remove any rights you may have under mandatory consumer law.
12. Right of Withdrawal
Where applicable, consumers purchasing online within the European Union have a statutory right to withdraw from an eligible distance purchase within the period provided by law.
The conditions, procedure and any applicable return costs are explained in our Returns & Refunds Policy.
The statutory right of withdrawal may not apply to certain products made to the customer's individual specifications or clearly personalised for that customer, as provided by applicable consumer law.
The fact that a standard catalogue product is produced after an order is received does not by itself mean that the statutory right of withdrawal is excluded.
13. Custom and Personalised Orders
A product may be considered customised or personalised where it is produced specifically according to individual choices requested by the customer that go beyond the standard options normally offered for that product.
Examples may include:
-
customer-specific alterations to the model;
-
individually requested colour schemes;
-
personalised inscriptions or elements;
-
bespoke dimensions or configurations;
-
other modifications created specifically for that customer.
Before accepting substantial custom work, we may confirm the agreed specifications, price and estimated production time in writing.
Where the product qualifies under applicable law as made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalised, the statutory right of withdrawal may be excluded.
This does not affect rights relating to products that are faulty, damaged or do not conform to the agreed specifications.
14. Order Changes and Cancellations
If you wish to change an order, please contact us as soon as possible.
We will try to accommodate reasonable requests, but changes cannot be guaranteed once production has started.
Changes involving scale, finish, colour, customisation or other significant production details may require:
-
a revised price;
-
additional production time;
-
cancellation and replacement of the original order.
Any statutory cancellation or withdrawal rights remain unaffected.
15. Faulty or Non-Conforming Products
Consumers benefit from the legal guarantee of conformity required by applicable consumer law.
If a product is faulty, damaged or materially different from what was agreed, please contact us with your order details and supporting photographs where appropriate.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, available remedies may include repair, replacement, price reduction or refund.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts rights arising from the mandatory legal guarantee of conformity.
16. Intellectual Property and Third-Party Designs
Mimic3DPrint may manufacture physical pieces based on digital sculpts created by independent artists or studios.
Where applicable, commercial permissions or licences relating to the manufacture of a particular digital model are obtained from the relevant creator.
Such a licence to produce a physical model does not necessarily mean that Mimic3DPrint owns or controls the copyright, trademark or other intellectual-property rights associated with an underlying character, franchise or third-party property.
All third-party names, characters, trademarks and intellectual property remain the property of their respective owners.
Unless expressly stated otherwise, Mimic3DPrint is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by the owners of third-party franchises.
Original Mimic3DPrint branding, photographs, written content, graphics and original characters remain protected by applicable intellectual-property law and may not be reproduced or commercially used without permission.
17. Website Use
You may use this website only for lawful purposes.
You must not:
-
interfere with the operation or security of the website;
-
attempt unauthorised access to the website or connected systems;
-
use automated tools in a manner that materially disrupts the service;
-
submit fraudulent orders or false information;
-
reproduce protected website content for commercial purposes without authorisation.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect the store, our customers or our systems.
18. Third-Party Services
Our website may rely on third-party services including payment providers, shipping carriers, analytics services and Shopify.
Those services may be subject to their own terms and privacy practices.
Where the website contains links to third-party websites, Mimic3DPrint is not responsible for content or services operated independently by those third parties.
19. Limitation of Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where such exclusion would be unlawful, including mandatory consumer rights.
To the extent permitted by law, Mimic3DPrint is not responsible for indirect losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when the contract was concluded.
We are also not responsible for loss resulting from circumstances attributable to the customer, including incorrect information supplied during the order process or misuse of the product.
Products are intended primarily as collectible display pieces or hobby kits unless expressly described otherwise.
They are not intended to be used as children's toys.
20. Events Outside Our Reasonable Control
We are not responsible for delays or failure to perform obligations caused by events outside our reasonable control.
These may include severe transport disruption, natural disasters, widespread infrastructure failure, government restrictions, major supply interruptions or other exceptional events.
Where such an event materially affects an order, we will make reasonable efforts to inform the customer and find an appropriate solution.
Mandatory consumer rights remain unaffected.
21. Personal Data
Personal data is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and applicable data-protection legislation.
Please review the Privacy Policy for information about the categories of data we collect, why we use them, how long they may be retained and the rights available to you.
22. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms when necessary to reflect changes to our services, business practices or applicable law.
The version applicable to an order is generally the version in force when that order is placed, unless a later change is required by mandatory law.
The latest version will always be published on this website together with its revision date.
23. Governing Law and Consumer Rights
These Terms and contracts concluded through this website are governed by Italian law, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply in the consumer's country of habitual residence.
Nothing in these Terms deprives consumers of protections that cannot lawfully be excluded by agreement.
Any dispute should first be raised with us directly so that we can attempt to resolve the matter promptly.
Where an amicable resolution cannot be reached, consumers may use any judicial or alternative dispute-resolution mechanisms available to them under applicable law.
